Overview

How we deploy IP TV

IP TV consolidates broadcast reception, channel distribution and the in-room guest interface onto a single IP infrastructure. Headend equipment receives satellite, terrestrial or IP sources and streams them as managed multicast across the property network, while the guest-facing application layer runs on the room television itself.

Synetra engineers the complete chain: reception and transcoding at the headend, multicast design and switch configuration across distribution, and the guest interface, branding and integrations at the room level. We deploy Lemco headend platforms for signal processing and MCOMS for the interactive guest experience, and we take responsibility for the system as one deployment rather than three separate supplies.

Because channel line-ups, room grouping and messaging are configured in software, changes that once required a technician in the riser are now a change on a management console.
